I've never seen such a thing before
Canadian Geese
And a family of blue heron
Flew in
Wings flapping
quickly
Slowing
to a stop
On the frozen pond water
Colors of
blue, black, gray and white
Mixed together like paint
They flew
in together.
I've never seen such a thing before.
